Thank You! |
Special thanks to Dana Mollenkamp and Betty Dzierzak and their cast of dozens for organized the Used Uniform Sale. This sale is a great service for NDA students, enabling seniors to make some money on their used uniforms and for other students to expand their uniform wardrobe at greatly reduced prices. This sale is a big undertaking! Lots and lots of parents and grandparents donated many hours to this sale. Thank you!
Thank you to Dan Maciejewski for donating his time to supervise NDA students in the late afternoon.
Ana Kraus did a marvelous job organizing the After Prom which was enjoyed by all who attended. This is a big effort as 900 students attended! We had lots of parents who helped with the event and donated food. Thanks to Ana and the parent volunteers who worked together to make this a memorable event!
A huge thank you to Dana Mollenkamp and Debbie Katich for planning and producing a lovely Senior Graduation Luncheon. Dana and Debbie are a great team and have organized this luncheon for a number of years. Their attention to detail and great ideas make this luncheon really memorable. Thanks to you both and to the other parents who helped to treat the seniors and their guests to a really special time.
Thanks to the NDA Arts Parent Club for putting together the splendid Evening of the Arts on Sunday, April 29. The evening was a wonderful showcase for the students' artistic and musical talent. It was truly impressive to see their collective works. Special thanks to the parents who donated cookies and helped serve at the reception which was organized by Catherine Jorgenson.
Current Opportunities |
We are looking for willing parent volunteers to help with weeding and landscape work to keep Notre Dame's campus looking beautiful. Depending on the number of parents interested in helping, we could be flexible with when this work can be done. If you are interested in helping, please contact Helen Kirk, Volunteer Coordinator at hkirk@nda.org.
On Thursday, May 10, PANDA is planning a Faculty/Staff Appreciation Luncheon. Jean Schoen is chairing this event (Thanks Jean!!) and is looking for donations of dessert and drinks. If you can help with one of these items, please contact Jean at jeanschoen@aol.com to let her know what you would like to donate.
We are looking for 2 or 3 parents to re-do the big boards in the Dining Hall that showcase student work. You may recall that some of them are currently covered in "cow print." The Executive Student Council has some ideas about how the boards should look. This is a fabric/staple gun kind of project. All materials will be provided. Please contact Helen Kirk if you are interested in helping. hkirk@nda.org
