ACT, SING, DANCE, CREATE!
Art Club is open to all students at Notre Dame Academy who have an interest in art. Art Club provides creative, fun activities and a way to get to know each other. Art Club meets twice a month: once to create different types of artistic projects for a small fee per project and second to provide a group opportunity to visual journal. Projects such as painting glass plates and creating clay magnets allow you to show off your art skills and explore various media techniques.
NDJA Craft Club
If you’re artsy, crafty or a bit of both, the Junior Academy Craft Club is for you. The Craft Club meets twice a month to create crafts that are primarily made out of recycled goods. We like to work on ‘up-cycling’ household items to create usable crafts. The Craft Club creates fleece blankets to donate to the St. Vincent Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as their annual service project. No talent required, just bring your creativity and ideas!
Students audition for the large musical cast in May for the following fall. All NDA students and boys from local schools are welcome to try out. Students who wish to be involved with orchestra, stage crew, make-up, costuming, and ushering may sign-up in the fall.
Hip Hop Team
Do you love dancing to the latest music? Hip Hop routines are choreographed by the captains, practiced, and performed at pep rallies and sporting events. Meets after school to practice.
Open to all NDA students interested in competing in various acting and speaking categories. Present a piece of work at various statewide tournament at the district, state and national levels!
Do you love to act, direct, design sets, or make costumes? Get involved in the Spring Play! You can also be involved with crew, makeup, costuming, orchestra, and ushering.
EXPLORE A VARIETY OF CULTURES
Open to all students! Activities center on the African-American culture and promoting diversity.
Everyone is welcome to experience fun aspects about Asian culture. Together we will make Asian cuisine, design t-shirts, help the kids in Asia and much more!
Open to all NDA students. Club activities include French games, French movies, and dining on specialties of “la cuisine Francaise.” Members participate in Christmas celebrations and Mardi Gras. Join us and learn to use the “Language of love!”
All welcome and encouraged to come and learn Indian language and culture. Learn how to do Bollywood dancing and experience henna parties. Taste Indian cuisine and celebrate Indian holidays.
Activities center on interest in the Spanish language and Hispanic culture. Members are invited to participate in the Day of the Dead celebration, movies, games, snacks, and other events. All NDA students are welcome to join!
Experience the different aspects of Korea through food and activities!
Activities relate to Latin and the worlds of ancient Rome and Greece. Annual highlights include a treasure hunt of Latin names at the Toledo Zoo, retelling mysterious ancient stories, and learning about the stars and planets from a Roman point of view.

Faith In Action (FIAT) Team—Evangelization
Open to all NDA students. Members plan outreach and service opportunities both on and off campus. Members also respond to those in need by organizing donation drives and services.

Open to all NDA students. The Retreat Team helps to plan and carry out spiritually enriching retreat opportunities for the student body.
Faith In Action (FIAT) Team– Worship
Open to all NDA students. Activities and responsibilities center on planning masses, prayer services, and other religious events throughout the academic year.
“Students Equipped to Advocate for Life” meet monthly to learn about pro-life issues, share ideas and plan pro-life school activities, such as fundraisers for local pregnancy centers. SEAL Team members strive to create a positive “Culture of Life” at NDA.
DISCOVER NEW TALENTS & INTERESTS
American Sign Language Club
If you are interested in learning a new language, then ASL club is perfect for you! We will learn some basic signs, have fun activities, eat food, and play games! We also will talk about deaf culture and lifestyle! Meetings are every Gold Tuesday at lunch in room 205. All are welcome!
Open to all NDA students. Target shooting takes place in the fall and the spring on the back athletic fields. Dates and times will be on announcements and posted on the sports wall. Archery equipment is provided.
You live in the universe, so enjoy the view! We do a variety of fun activities which promote our shared interest in astronomy. All are welcome!
Open to all NDA students. Club activities include fellowship in the midst of reading various books, thoughtful discussion and some fun too. We also perform community service and read to children.
Building Bridges Club
Building Bridges is a club that aims to heal social, political, and personal divisions in our school and community. We seek to create an open, welcoming environment for all students to discuss and learn about important issues that can be difficult to talk about.
Do you like chess? Do you want to learn how to play? Then Chess Club is for you! Playing chess with your fellow classmates will help you develop your critical thinking skills and become more confident in your thinking abilities. The Chess Club brings students together and engages them in friendly competition. No chess playing experience is needed. We will teach you how to play!
Current Events Club
Current Events Club serves as a forum on local, national, and international events. Gain an in-depth look and understanding of political and diplomatic issues through open discussions, panel presentations, and guest speakers.
Calling all Card Sharks! Euchre Club is open to all NDA students interested in learning and playing Euchre and other card games. No experience is necessary to join. Euchre Club meets every other week on Blue Fridays. Music, food and games – what more could you want!?
Do you LOVE everything about fashion? We invite girls from all grades 7 – 12 to join the NDA Fashion Club! Discuss the latest trends of the season, how to up-cycle clothing, and meet speakers from the fashion industry including: cosmetic artists, hair stylists, skin care specialists, fashion design graduates, and local boutique owners. Our club wants to show you the many careers within the fashion industry and have “fashion”able fun along the way!
Film Studies Club
Activities include weekly viewings of student-chosen films and lively group discussion. Sit back and enjoy the show!
Knitting for Charity Club
Open to veteran knitters and girls who have never tried it before, KFC is a fun way to get together and practice our skills. Earn service hours by participating in our charity knitting or work on individual projects. Join this “tight knit” group of friends!
Do you enjoy science, nature and caring for the Earth? If so, LE2A2P is the place for you. LE2A2P focuses on studying and addressing the environmental issues in our school and community, along with environmental education and outdoor appreciation. We work to encourage activities like recycling and help teach other students how to live more sustainable lifestyles.
Open to any student taking Math I or higher. Have fun while learning through math puzzles and games! Individuals compete in six monthly Ohio math contests.
Open to 7th and 8th graders who want to use their creativity and collaboration skills to solve math puzzles and equations!
Minds Matter Club
Minds Matter is open to 9-12 students who are interested in knowing more about mental health wellness. The club aims to create awareness of mental health issues and ways to stay mentally fit. We strive to stop the stigma of mental illness and support anyone who may be struggling. Moderator
Power of the Pen Contests
Open to all NDJA students who love to write and want to better develop their craft. Power of the Pen competes regionally in timed writing contests and meets weekly to practice responding to prompts and participate in writing circles.
Hit the Slopes! We will board the bus for several fun Friday evening ski trips with the all-boys schools! Beginner to advanced skiers and snowboarders are welcome!
Develop Leadership Skills!
Student Ambassadors are dedicated to the positive promotion of Notre Dame Academy. They serve as hostesses by helping to welcome and interact with prospective students and parents, alumnae, and friends of NDA at special events throughout the school year.
NDA EAGLES!! The spirit and pride-producing club of NDA! Pep Club members attend Eagle sporting events to cheer the teams on to victory and support ALL student organizations. Everyone is welcome!
Works to promote leadership and school spirit as the forum for student expression at NDA and in the community. Officers are elected annually, but all students are members. Activities include planning dances, “decking the halls” for Christmas, organizing Spirit Week, and coordinating various service projects.
