Tuition & Affordability

A Notre Dame Academy education is attainable and affordable. To meet families’ varying needs, NDA offers numerous ways to off-set tuition. In addition to the State of Ohio’s EdChoice scholarship (now available to all Ohio students), NDA offers an array of discounts and need-based assistance in the form of tuition grants and scholarships.
While the financial aid process may seem daunting, rest assured that our Finance team will walk you through each step of the EdChoice application and financial assistance process to ensure your out-of-pocket cost is minimized.

2025 - 26 Tuition & Fees
Grades 7 & 8:  $10,634
Grades 9-12:  $15,736

Any of the following deadlines are for the 2025 - 26 school year.

 

Notre Dame Academy will automatically apply these scholarships toward your tuition if you are eligible:

Academic Merit-Based Scholarship

For 9th-grade families, this non-need-based scholarship of up to $3,000 is based strictly on the High School Placement Test Score and renews automatically each year.

HSPT First Choice Scholarship

For 9th-grade families, this non-need-based scholarship of $250 is awarded to incoming freshmen who choose NDA as their first choice on the HSPT and is non-renewable.

Alumnae Award

For all grades, this non-need-based scholarship of $1,000 is awarded to daughters of NDA Alumnae and renews automatically each year.

Multiple Child Award

For all grades, this scholarship is awarded to families with more than one daughter at NDA. Families automatically receive $1,000 for each additional daughter.

 

STEP 1: OHIO EDUCATION CHOICE SCHOLARSHIPS

Traditional EdChoice

This scholarship is awarded to any level of students whose assigned public school is low-performing. The scholarship is $6,166 for 7th and 8th-grade students and $8,408 for high school students. For more information, contact Project AccountantTaryn (Mulkey) Kwasniak '17 at tkwasniak@nda.org.

Priority Deadline: 2/28/2025 - Student must be accepted into NDA prior to applying for EdChoice.

Expansion EdChoice

This need-based scholarship is available to all students who reside in Ohio. The scholarship is $616 - $6,166 for 7th and 8th-grade students and $840 - $8,408 for high school students. For more information, contact Project Accountant Taryn (Mulkey) Kwasniak '17 at tkwasniak@nda.org.

STEP 2: NOTRE DAME ACADEMY SCHOLARSHIPS

Catholic School Employee Award

A Catholic School Employee Award of $1,000 per family is offered to a parent who is a verified full-time Catholic school, parish, or Diocesan employee.

To apply for this award, please contact NDA's Tuition Coordinator, Karen Miller, at kmiller@nda.org.

Marian Woman of Service Award

Must be an incoming freshman who applies herself to her studies, is respectful of teachers and classmates, and demonstrates leadership and Christian service. This is a non-need-based scholarship; not renewable.

Submit the Marian Woman of Service Award application once completed by the student. Applications are currently open and the priority application deadline is January 3, 2025.

Military Employee Award

A military employee award of $500 per family is offered to a parent who is a verified full-time active military employee.

To apply for this award, please contact NDA's Tuition Coordinator, Karen Miller, at kmiller@nda.org.

NDA Empowerment Award

Must be an incoming 7th or 8th grader who applies herself to her studies, is respectful of teachers and classmates, and demonstrates Christian service. This is a non-need-based scholarship; is renewable through 8th grade.

Submit the NDA Empowerment Award application once completed by the student. Applications are currently open and the priority application deadline is March 3, 2025.

Sullivan Award

For 9th-grade students, this is a need-based award of up to $3,000 renewable. Required parent essay and completion of the financial scholarship and grant application through FACTS. 

Submit the Sullivan Award application once completed by a Parent. Applications are currently open and the priority application deadline is January 3, 2025.

Jon Peterson Scholarship

For all grades, a state-funded scholarship is awarded to students with a qualifying disability. More information can be found at education.ohio.gov.

 

STEP 3: NEED-BASED TUITION ASSISTANCE

We are deeply committed to ensuring that every young woman who aspires to receive a Catholic high school education has the opportunity to do so, regardless of their family's financial circumstances. Our need-based assistance program is designed to provide support to families who require financial aid to make our exceptional education accessible.

To apply for tuition assistance, you must complete a financial scholarship and grant application online through FACTS.

9th grade: January 3, 2025
7th & 8th grades: March 3, 2025

 

PAYMENT PLAN OPTIONS

PAY IN FULL

Pay in full through FACTS payment plan by July 12.

PAY MONTHLY

Pay monthly through FACTS for 10 or 11 months beginning in July or August. There is a 3% finance fee on all monthly payment plans

PAY FROM 529 SAVINGS PLAN

If you have a 529 Savings Plan, you can use it to pay tuition at NDA, up to $10,000 per student, by instructing your 529 Savings Plan to submit payment to NDA.

TUITION FINANCING

Arrange tuition financing through Your Tuition Solution. The repayment period is up to 84 months. Apply at yourtuitionsolution.com/family.

 

STEP 4: SCRIP, KROGER, AND PAYSCHOOLS CENTRAL (OPTIONAL)

SCRIP

Do you know about our SCRIP program? The SCRIP program allows you to purchase gift cards from local and national retailers that earn a percentage of your purchases back in a rebate that will be applied to your daughter’s tuition for the following year. NDA is a part of the West Toledo Parochial School Parents Association. To talk to someone at NDA for more information, you can contact anyone in the Business Office at 419.725.1270.

KROGER

Earn tuition credits when you shop at Kroger! We all shop for groceries from time to time and what a better way to earn tuition credits for your daughter by signing up for Kroger Community Rewards! It's as easy as 1-2-3! A digital account is needed to participate. In order for each family to receive the credit, they will need to give the business office a copy of their quarterly report from Krogers, with their students name, these can be emailed to jerd@nda.org. Please visit www.kroger.com or download the Kroger Mobile App.

PaySchools Central

If you haven’t already done so, please make sure you set up your daughters' Pay School Central Account. This will help you manage your daughters’ lunch account. The portal is easy to set up and to use both online and via the mobile app. To find your daughters id number, you can find it on her schedule. To get started please see the attached sheet that has the instructions for easy set up. Please note that the business office will not be able to load credit card funds under $25 to your daughters account. This is in order to minimize fees NDA are charged per transaction. Parents are NOT charged associated fees for deposits made online at payschool.com. We ask that you utilize this service to upload funds into your daughters account.

NDA Financial Policies
      • All financial obligations of a family must be current at the end of each semester in order for the student to take semester exams.
      • The $300 Registration Fee is non-refundable.
      • The $1,200 Composite Fee is non-refundable once the student attends classes for the applicable school year.
      • In case of student withdrawal, base tuition is prorated based on the quarter(s) of attendance.
