What is it? A shadow experience with a friend or a Student Ambassador
Why is this important? This gives your daughter time with our students, attend classes, meet our faculty and staff, and gain a better sense of the unique all-girls environment NDA offers our students.
How do I schedule an Eagle for a Day for my daughter? To schedule your Eagle for a Day, please contact Notre Dame Academy's Office of Admissions at 419.725.1280 or by clicking HERE.
At Notre Dame Academy, we foster a supportive environment based on faith and understanding, where young women thrive both academically and personally. During the Junior Academy Open House, you will have the opportunity to tour the building, talk to students and faculty, and experience a glimpse into the NDJA community.
The HSPT will be offered at Notre Dame Academy on Saturday, February 15 from 8:00 a.m. - 12 p.m. for students who do not attend a metro-Toledo Catholic elementary school. The cost to take the test is $20.
The HSPT will help NDA make admissions decisions, place applicants, and determine scholarship awards based on the exam results. We are excited to host your daughter for this learning experience!

Notre Dame Academy, a Catholic college preparatory school for young women, educates in the tradition, vision, and principles of the Sisters of Notre Dame. We empower students to be intellectually curious, passionately faith-filled, and socially responsible servant leaders.
When Notre Dame Academy first opened its doors in 1904, the Sisters of Notre Dame did so with a mission to educate young women and empower them to be intellectually curious, passionately faith-filled, and socially responsible servant leaders. The mission of the Sisters remains strong and woven into the fabric of today’s NDA.
No. NDA welcomes students of all faith traditions, however, students are expected to take religion classes and attend monthly all-school masses, prayer services, and retreats. We follow the Sisters of Notre Dame’s mission to “proclaim God’s goodness and compassionate love for people of all faiths and cultures.”
At an all-girls school, girls occupy all roles.
Research done by the Goodman Research Group, The Girls’ School Experience: A Survey of Young Alumnae of Single-Sex Schools, states that 93% of girls’ school graduates say they were offered greater leadership opportunities than co-educated peers.
All-girls schools often foster a strong sense of sisterhood and community. This supportive environment can lead to lasting friendships and a strong network of alumnae. Girls in single-sex schools often feel more empowered and confident. They are more likely to speak up in class, participate actively, and take on leadership roles without the social pressures that can be present in co-educational settings.
