Because of your support, we are able to continue to educate our students in the tradition, vision and principles of the Sisters of Notre Dame, as we have been doing since 1904.
Gifts to The Notre Dame Academy Fund support every aspect of an NDA education. These gifts not only provide critical financial aid to deserving students, but they also ensure that NDA students continue to have access to the best programs, learning environment, facilities, and faculty. Your gift to The NDA Fund is an investment in young women that will provide scholarships and tuition assistance to qualified and deserving students, secure vital equipment for student use, open doors for Christian ministry opportunities, and ensure that the NDA tradition of providing the highest quality education will continue today and in the future.
Each February, Notre Dame Academy hosts its annual fundraiser gala, Mad for Plaid. Proceeds raised from this event support the NDA Fund. The NDA Fund helps to change the lives of current and future students through campus ministry, building improvements, tuition assistance, faculty professional development, and much more! Our annual NDA Hall of Fame recipients are honored at this event.
The Hall of Fame honor is bestowed upon alumnae who have made outstanding contributions professionally or through service, and whose achievements have brought distinction to themselves and have demonstrated a measurable benefit to their communities. Each year, a selection committee consisting of alumnae, teachers, Sisters of Notre Dame, and school leadership come together to designate the inductees for the Hall of Fame.
At Notre Dame Academy, we strive to take care of each student as a whole person, and that includes making sure her physical needs are being met every day. At times, some of our students are unable to afford to purchase lunch and meet their nutritional needs during the school day. Please consider supporting these girls, and our community, by helping them as an NDA Lunch Champion.

When you think back to your high school days, was there a teacher who guided you in the direction of the career you pursued? NDA offers you the chance to provide that kind of inspiration – by mentoring an NDA student through the Eagle Network.
Why volunteer as a mentor? Your insights as an NDA alumna are extraordinarily valuable to current students. As a mentor, you’ll share what you have learned with our future leaders. You may even find yourself reflecting on your career and inspired by your student’s enthusiasm! Mentors are asked to commit to at least two interactions per month with their students for 12 months or more.
Planned and deferred gifts are straightforward ways through which you can support Notre Dame Academy. Planned gifts provide you with the opportunity to leave your legacy on behalf of NDA while integrating personal, financial, and estate planning into your gift. Making a planned gift creates your legacy, and costs nothing today. Many people are surprised to learn they can make a meaningful gift just by adding a few words to their written will, or retirement plan, designating Notre Dame Academy.

The Notre Dame Academy Foundation is fully certified with the State of Ohio as a Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO). This program allows qualified Ohio taxpayers to receive a 100% tax credit for a gift to NDA’s SGO, up to $750 for an individual ($1,500 for a married couple filing jointly).
Your donation to the NDA Foundation will directly impact the lives of students and their families who seek tuition assistance to access better educational opportunities at NDA.
To take advantage of the tax credit for the 2024 tax year, your gift MUST be received by April 15, 2025.
