Junior Academy Middle School Teacher

Full-time Faculty for the 2026 - 2027 School Year

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging, mission-aligned instruction using the courses of study and Ohio standards to grade 6-8 students

  • Build meaningful relationships with students in this age range through strong interpersonal skills and a student-centered approach

  • Communicate proactively and professionally with parents to support student growth and uphold the school's Catholic mission

  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a cohesive, mission-centered academic community

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Education for the middle school grade level

  • Valid Ohio Teaching License for the appropriate grade level (or equivalent)

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to connect with middle school students

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for engagement with parents and colleagues

  • Demonstrated commitment to, or sincere willingness to embrace, our Catholic mission


Long-Term, English Teacher (Maternity Sub)

from August 11, 2026 through November 1, 2026. 

Desirable Characteristics:
  • Candidates must possess excellent knowledge of English instruction

  • Must contribute to a high-quality, standards-based curriculum.

  • Provide challenging, rigorous learning experiences for students with various teaching methodologies.

  • Must teach students how to analyze and think critically, emphasizing modeling and problem-solving skills.

Campus Minister

Full-time beginning in August 2026, 10-month contract

The Co-Director of Campus Ministry leads the Campus Ministry department and is responsible for collaborating to meet the goals relevant to the department. The Co-Director of Campus Ministry provides pastoral ministry and spiritual leadership within the school community. *Classification: 10 month full time position Desirable Characteristics: • Performs position duties and acts in a manner consistent with the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church, the Mission and Heritage of the Sisters of Notre Dame and the Mission, Values, and beliefs of Notre Dame Academy • Works to build a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative environment.

Part-time Cook

Monday - Friday, dayshift, no weekends or holidays with summers off
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Please customers by providing a pleasant dining experience
  • Assemble, combine, and cook ingredients
  • Maintain a sanitary kitchen
  • Place and expedite orders
  • Prepare ingredients by following recipes; slicing, cutting, chopping, mincing, stirring, whipping, and mixing ingredients
  • Complete hot meal preparation by grilling, sautéing, roasting,  and broiling ingredients and assembling and refrigerating cold ingredients
  • Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Maintain appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items
  • Stores leftovers according to established standards
Requirements:
  • Strong working knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and safety and sanitation practices
  • Exceptional food presentation skills
  • Familiarity with general kitchen equipment and appliances
  • Strong work ethic and high energy level
