National Recognition for Local Speech and Debate Team Student

Notre Dame Academy is pleased to announce that Numa Mujeeb ’24, has been appointed to the National Speech and Debate Association’s Student Leadership Council. Numa is one of only 24 students across the nation to be chosen for this honor. The Student Leadership Council (SLC) is composed of current high school student members of the National Speech & Debate Association graduating in or after 2024. 

According to NDA’s Speech and Debate Coach, Mrs. Marisa (Napoli) Spinazze ‘13, “Numa exhibits passion for speech and debate and is committed to shaping the future of the National Speech and Debate Association. She will be instrumental in leading team practices, coaching her peers, and developing resources for our program.” Notre Dame’s speech and debate team launched nearly 30 years ago and is the only team of its kind in the Toledo School District.
