2024 Alesi Scholarship and the Paul Nelson Randolph Scholarship Winners

We are excited to announce the winners of two special scholarships offered to our outstanding seniors that are sponsored by NDA Alumnae.

The first scholarship is the Alesi Medical Scholarship. This is a $2,500 scholarship sponsored by the Alesi family and is given to an NDA senior who plans to pursue a degree in the medical service profession.  The winner was selected based on an essay she wrote about her plans to contribute to the medical profession in the future.  This year's recipient of the Alesi Medical Scholarship is Tia Maly.  Tia plans to attend The Ohio State University and major in nursing.  Her goal is to serve those in need or in rural communities.  Congratulations Tia!

The second scholarship is the Paul Nelson Randolph Abundant Life Scholarship.  This is a scholarship sponsored by the Paul Nelson Randolph Foundation.  Paul Randolph was a firm believer in education, and helping those from disadvantaged backgrounds to get the same opportunities as others.  His wife and daughter, who is an NDA alumna, started a foundation in his name and are committed to carrying on his legacy of helping students achieve their dreams of higher education.  We are excited to announce that NDA has four winners of the Abundant Life Scholarship this year

• A'Nyah Woodard received a $5,000 scholarship
• Bella Hsia received a $4,000 scholarship
• Jon'Asia Walthall received a $3,000 scholarship
• Timmy Walker received a $2,000 scholarship
