Bold. Brilliant. Beautiful. Blessed.

Notre Dame Academy, a Catholic college preparatory school for young women, educates in the tradition, vision, and principles of the Sisters of Notre Dame.

We empower students to be intellectually curious, passionately faith-filled, and socially responsible servant leaders.

The Notre Dame Academy Advantage

What makes a Notre Dame Academy worth the investment? It’s more than academic achievement. It’s confidence. It’s the confidence that comes from knowing you have the ability to find answers in unfamiliar situations. It’s the confidence that comes from knowing what you believe and value. It’s the confidence that comes from knowing that you are supported by a deeply caring community of teachers, students, and alumnae. Notre Dame Academy graduates have the confidence to boldly use their unique talents to lead and serve the world. NDA graduates:

  • Think holistically
  • Live Gospel values
  • Support each other

For over a hundred years, Notre Dame Academy has focused solely on empowering young women through exceptional education. I invite you to come visit to experience for yourself what it feels to be not just educated but empowered.

Mission Statement

Notre Dame Academy, a Catholic college preparatory school for young women, educates in the tradition, vision, and principles of the Sisters of Notre Dame. We empower students to be intellectually curious, passionately faith-filled, and socially responsible servant leaders.

The Sisters of Notre Dame

Notre Dame Academy is one of a global network of schools sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame. The Sisters founded NDA in 1904 to fulfill their Educational Vision:

Impelled by Jesus Christ and his mission and our rich educational heritage, we provide a Catholic-Christian environment of educational excellence for the transformation of individuals and society. We form persons who are skilled and committed to journey together in hope as witnesses and catalysts for the responsible care of all God’s creation and for justice and peace, especially for those on the margins of society.

As one of the schools around the globe sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame (SND), Notre Dame Academy was founded to fulfill the educational mission of the Sisters. In particular, NDA empowers young women in grades 7-12 for leadership and service. Notre Dame Academy graduates are:

  • Intellectually curious
  • Passionately faith-filled
  • Socially responsible
  • A servant leader

Welcoming All

Notre Dame Academy’s Spirit of Inclusion Statement

The intent of this statement is to affirm our commitment as a Catholic school to inclusivity. We welcome all into this Gospel community including but not limited to people of all colors, religions, ethnicities, sexual orientations, economic classes and nationalities. We receive and love all here as God’s children. Accordingly, we will not tolerate discrimination of any kind. We remain vigilant to create an environment of mutual respect, of welcoming hospitality and of genuine warmth in which none is a stranger and in which all may flourish according to God’s plan.

Protecting Our Students
As of October 31, 2020, Notre Dame Academy had a total of 636 students enrolled in grades 7-12. To ensure the safety of each of these students, we follow the Diocese of Toledo's Youth Protection policies, requiring all faculty, staff, and volunteers complete its Standards and Guidelines, background check, and Protecting Youth/Vulnerable Adults training module.
